Technical principle

The light comes through the face.

LED modules sit inside a dimensional letter body and illuminate a translucent acrylic face. The opaque returns define the outline. Letter depth, module spacing and the face material are coordinated to achieve an even appearance at the intended viewing distance.

Face & colour

Acrylic, colour films and LED colour are assessed together, including how the sign looks when switched off.

Depth & diffusion

The letter body provides space for the light to spread. Narrow strokes and small details are checked against the production size.

Fixings & power

Individual fixings, rails or a backplate can support the letters. Cable exits and power-supply access are agreed before production.

How do front-lit letters differ from halo-lit letters?

Front-lit letters illuminate their face. Halo-lit letters have an opaque face and direct light onto the wall behind them. The choice depends on the viewing distance, surrounding light and desired appearance.

Can our logo and brand colours be reproduced?

Send vector artwork, colour references and the desired dimensions. We check minimum strokes and spacing and explain any adjustments. Illuminated colours can differ from printed colours, so the material and lighting are specified together.

Are front-lit letters suitable outdoors?

Exterior versions can be specified for the location. The complete design must account for weather exposure, drainage, electrical protection, the mounting surface and access for maintenance.

What do you need for a front-lit lettering quote?

Share the artwork, approximate overall size, a site photo and the intended installation position. Tell us where power is available. You receive a visual or technical drawing for approval before manufacturing.
