For a reception wall, shopfront or visitor route, an unlit sign needs the right relationship between lettering and its surroundings. We plan dimensions, depth, colour and finish around your artwork, the available light and the distance from which people will read it.

What is non-illuminated signage?
Non-illuminated signage has no integrated light source. Letters, logos or sign panels remain visible through their material, colour, contrast and the available light. If the sign must be read after dark, we discuss the site's existing lighting or a separate illuminated solution.
Can you produce our logo as unlit 3D letters?
Send your logo or lettering, preferred dimensions and a photo of the installation area. We check the smallest details, letter spacing and suitable depth, then agree the material, finish and mounting before production.
Can non-illuminated signs be installed outdoors?
Outdoor suitability depends on the material, finish, fixings and exposure at the site. Tell us whether the sign will be sheltered or exposed, and share details of the mounting surface so we can specify a suitable construction.
How are individual letters and logos mounted?
The fixing method depends on the letter size, weight, backing and mounting surface. Options can include direct fixing, spacers or a shared carrier. We agree visible fixing points and spacing before manufacture.
Can unlit and illuminated signs be combined in one project?
Yes. A location can combine an illuminated exterior sign with unlit reception letters, door signs and visitor guidance. We coordinate proportions, colours and finishes across the different elements of the project.
What do you need to prepare a quote?
Share your artwork, quantity, approximate dimensions, installation location and any preferred material or colour. Photos or drawings of the surface help us assess mounting. Include a delivery date if you have one.
Planning unlit signage?
